Description: Three of these towns are places I have lived: Damariscotta, Fredericksburg, and Hollywood. As for Memphis — that’s just included so I could write a bluesy piece for the violin.

Serenade For Double Bass

2001 – 3 Movements – Duration: 15 minutes

Description: Very melodic piece for a very good double bassist. Robert Oppelt from the National Symphony Orchestra has recorded this and plays it beautifully. Greg Watkins also has performed this piece and would be quite a concert attraction – he is something of a rock star now.
