Cantate Chamber Singers

My good friend Vicki Gau is now leading the Cantate Chamber Singers in Takoma Park, Maryland. I heard their concert last night and it was terrific.  The programing was fascinating. Mozart’s Requiem with a variety of other pieces mixed in between the Requiem’s movements.  The coolest one was Victoria Bond’s “Your Voice Is Gone.” Brava!

Gia Mora sings “One Thing I Have Learned About The Weather”

Ken Schubert (not pictured, sorry Ken) is again our recording engineer—we love him!

Tommy Barrick on drums and selfies. Pete Ostle on bass, Marilyn Older on singing scratch tracks and selfies  Charlie on guitar and piano.  It feels great to be back in the studio again. We’ll get the horns in here soon. And just so you know, the choir—yes, I said “choir”—comes in April.
