More than two years after the explosion of the #MeToo Movement, that reckoning about sexual harassment and violence continues to have impact, especially on college campuses. I recently scored a short film on the movement for the University of Texas’s Ethics Department. For me, it was an exercise in staying musically current while tackling a really sensitive issue. The pop style of the music was in keeping with the youth of the interviewees and the cinematic pace of the film, but a challenge to balance with the serious subject matter.
